My shop is on the ground floor of my home, on three wooded acres just outside
Elkins, West Virginia.  It’s not large, but it’s adequate. The setting is secluded and
peaceful and there’s lots of natural light. As you can see, I’m partial to General
machinery: I have a General model 26020 lathe, a General 15 inch drill press, and an
old General bandsaw.

Entering from the house. Entering from outside.
My lathe, a General 26020. Big and heavy, the way a wood lathe should be. My Chief Assistant, lying down on the job as usual.
